RENTAL POLICIES

The OP office will be CLOSED August 11-19, 2008.

NO OUTDOOR GEAR WILL BE RENTED DURING THIS TIME.

For those who what to design their own adventure trip, we offer an equipment rental program. There is a nominal fee for FSU students and a slightly higher rate for non-students.

Equipment rental is on a first come, first serve basis. Stop by the Outdoor Pursuits office at the FSU Reservation (Directions) Monday through Friday between 12 noon and 5:00 p.m. to reserve equipment. All rentals must be paid by cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, or FSUCard. You must pay for the equipment at the time of the reservation. Reservations are not accepted before the Monday prior to the weekend you are renting the equipment.

Damage deposits are required for all equipment rentals. You may leave cash, check, or credit card number which will be held until the equipment is returned and checked for any damages by Outdoor Pursuits staff. Equipment is checked and cleaned after every rental. The renter is responsible for the equipment after it leaves the Outdoor Pursuits office.

A photo ID is required for equipment rental. An FSUCard is required to receive the student rates. Weekend rates begin on Thursday at 3:00 pm and end on Monday at 5:00 pm. The rental fee is non-refundable. Late equipment is assessed at full per day rate with $1.00 minimum penalty.
